still

I see a man - too familiar in face and stance and my heart races, my body reflexes, a choked breath in - it cannot be him.

he's been dead for almost 2 years. I know this. Yet as I type this, my hands shake. Power over me still.

How can this be?

My late father has a doppleganger that lives in my neck of the woods. Looks the same, walks the same, uses two canes. I almost drove off the road the first time I saw him.

My aunt tells me its a sign. I think it's just someone who looks remarkably similar. Still, it freaks you out when it happens!
